Since 2013, I’ve worked in the mental health field in a wide range of roles, including guiding therapeutic adventure-based experiences for individuals, families, and groups, serving in leadership roles within residential treatment, co-leading domestic and international women’s retreats, and now working in private practice. In addition to my graduate education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Adams State University, I also hold certifications in Sandtray and Expressive Arts Therapy.
My counseling approach is rooted in person-centered, trauma-informed, and somatic principles. I believe that healing unfolds when we feel safe, seen, and connected, and I aim to cultivate a space where all inner experiences can surface and be met with curiosity and compassion. I often draw from parts work, experiential methods, and accessible psychoeducation to help draw connections between beliefs, emotions and embodied awareness.
I work especially well with autistic and neurodivergent clients, those navigating trauma, experiencing relationship or communication challenges, and those exploring identity, spirituality, or purpose. I also enjoy supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, chronic stress, sexuality, grief, and major life transitions. My practice is guided by presence, authenticity, and a deep respect for the wisdom and resilience each person inherently carries.
Outside of the office, you can usually find me in nature or immersed in something creative or relaxing. I love wandering through remote canyons and climbing peaks with my dogs, soaking in hot tubs or natural springs, savoring delicious food and good music, enjoying game nights, gardening, crafting, and spending quality time with my husband and loved ones.
Thanks for reading my post and exploring the website! Wishing you strength, clarity, and all that supports your healing journey.
