Hi!
Thank you so much for taking the time to be here
After graduating from Southern Utah University in 2024 with my Bachelor of Social Work, I was able to complete my Master’s Degree in Social Work with the University of Kentucky in May of 2025. I have been working with Mending Minds since August of 2024 and have loved the variety of clients I have been privileged to work with. I see clients ranging from children to adults, working with anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, and various types of trauma. I am trained in DBT, EMDR, Sand Tray Therapy, and IFS informed.
I firmly believe that the more that we can normalize the human experience, in all of its wonderful, messy, chaos, the more we feel empowered to tackle the challenges that come our way. My goal as a therapist is to ensure that clients feel safe, heard, and able to express themselves without judgement. The ability to change and grow is an intrinsic part of ourselves, and I am happy to walk alongside you until you recognize your internal power. My favorite part of being a therapist is watching people overcome challenges that they didn’t think they could. Watching a young client conquer a fear or an adult client make changes to live a life aligned with their values is amazing, and I’m lucky I get to play a minor part in that.
As both a clinician and a regular human, I strive to bring my values of empathy, humor, and acceptance to everything I do. I strive to practice the skills I teach, both in taking care of myself and continually growing through learning and self-challenges. My hope is that you will feel that authenticity in sessions, allowing you to be safe to be yourself too.
Thank you again for taking the time to check out my biography. I hope that you find the clinician that fits your needs.
